I'm changing the battery in my SNS-8 Hiperlight and was wondering what I
should use. The engine is a Rotax 447. Would a lead acid battery be OK?

To answer this we're all going to need the requirements on the
battery. Does it run a starter, a radio, lights, etc...

I use a $20 sealed "lawn and garden" lead-acid battery from the local
auto parts store In my Long EZ. I change it out ever couple of years.
No problems to date.
